Bio
Geoff Smith was born in Mount Kisco, NY in 1970 and grew up in the suburban Northeast. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn. He attended the California State University at Chico, graduating in 1993 with an interdisciplinary BA degree in media arts. In 2005 he moved back to the East Coast to pursue photography full-time. He is married to the writer Orli Van Mourik. Their first child, Scarlet, was born in 2009.
